Brief Introduction:
As the second member of the new LED driver series, this 3w LED driver board integrates a MBI 6651chip (MSOP-8L-118mil) by Macroblock as the new step-down DC-DC converter. It is a high efficient chip which is designed to deliver constant current to light up high power LED. Features of MBI6651help make its applications safer, such as UVLO (under voltage lock out), over temperature protection, LED open-circuited protection and LED short-circuited protection. Moreover, thermal protection (TP) function has been introduced to protect IC from overheating (165°C) in various applications. In addition, a tailored converter has also been provided like its previous version so that the connection with power supply and LEDs will be convenient.
